Throughout the years, skiers have found new ways to access terrain. Until recently accessing terrain outside of resorts was nearly impossible. With the invention of the helicopter, skiers were able to access completely new terrain. Heli-skiing is a growing industry that helps people ski some unbelievable terrain.

This is a video of two professional skiers heli-skiing in south America. They never could have reached these peaks in the Andes without the help of helicopters. Would you ever consider heli-skiing?

This is pretty cool, I don't ski myself but watching videos like this sure does make you want to. It does seem pretty dangerous too.
This video was pretty cool for me because I didn’t know that heli-skiing existed. It looks like it would be pretty fun and I would definitely try it someday, of course probably staying on the wider trails so I don’t kill myself on some rock. The only thing that made me a little hesitant to wanting to go was the snow. I have only been skiing a couple of times but this snow looks really bumpy and hard to ski on and for a less experienced skier like me, it might be a little difficult.
